ABOUT US

Our shop environment includes me, (the bookseller), Bill, (who works around vintage wooden boats), Fred, (the cat), and Strider, (the dog). Fred is a book loving cat who is fond of sneaking into the shop and hiding in the stacks. He promptly gets shooed out. Strider is named after the Ranger in the Tolkien trilogy Lord of the Rings. He chased after two deer that just finished drinking from our pond. Bill says that since the deer sighting was not corroborated, he is withholding judgment on the nature of our wildlife. As summer continues on, we will be indulging both our passions for vintage books and vintage wooden boats, as we travel on the American Power Boat Association's Vintage and Historic Division exhibition circuit. Read more about our boating experiences by going to http://www.vintageraceboatshop.com.

Gilmanton Bookworm LLC is an independent dealer of rare and vintage books. We sell online and in our shop located in Gilmanton, NH. We have been in business since 1999.

Our selling experience started from a collector's point of view. Having begun as customers ourselves, we understand our customers' buying needs. We are glad to research your wants, investigate your special interests, discuss condition points or stay in the background while you browse our site or our store. We sell on-line because we like finding books for people, whether they are local to our community, or they are from the global community. We are excited when customers get to touch and feel our books in our shop.
